The big beach of Kalloni village is rocky and pebble in spots. At the end of this beach, left towards west, after the old port, there is a dirt path which ascends. At the end of this path, right, there is a wide open door, propably remnant from an old fenced property. We follow the path walking between plowed fields. This path leads us to the beach "Votsalakia". A beautiful beach with thin pebble and clean blue-green water, one of the best beaches in Troizinia area.
The beach has been named after the small round and light coloured pebbles scattered all around the beach like children's marbles ("Votsalakia" means small pebbles).
The beach is protected, left and right, by cliffs ideal for diving from above and its clear turquoise waters are warm and of course crystal clear.
Swimming, you enjoy the magnificent views of the coast of Troizinia and Epidauros at your left, while in the front you can see the west side of Methana town and Agistri island.
Above this beach lies the cafe-snack "Kantinais beach bar" with great sea views. This is a canteen-caravan, made with care and a lot of imagination. Music, banana trees, flowers and plants, natural juices, wonderful cocktails and homemade food.
You can use "Kalloni Resort" as a base for many activities and excursions to Troizinia region, to Methana peninsula, to Epidavros and to the surrounding areas.
